JCI Manila, Asia's first and premier leadership development organization in the Philippines, launched Pedal Kabuhayan Project. This pilot project aims to "Rebuild The Future" by providing 50 bike safety gears to front liners in Metro Manila and equipping them with the proper knowledge of traffic rules and road safety protocols.
Last April 30, 2022, JCI - Pedal Kabuhayan, in partnership with SM Cares, SM by the BAY, and sponsored by LANEX, conducted the JCI Manila - Pedal Kabuhayan Padyak Expo 2022 at the Central Park of SM Mall Of Asia By The Bay Complex. The project team headed by BJC Chairman Mizel Delos Santos turned over 50 bike gears to beneficiaries from Beseekleta for EveryJuan. They have also partnered with the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA), Mr. Antonio Pagulayan, Assistant Chief of Traffic Education Division provided online webinars on road safety to the beneficiaries.
The BJC project attracted a lot of sponsorships from F2 Logistics Philippines Inc., who provided the bike safety gears and secured shipping of these items until the very last day of the event. Avega Bros. Integrated Shipping Corp., ROG.ph - Events, Unilab, iPower, and Biker's Cafe boosted the project’s budget to provide manpower, LED screen, food, and more during the ceremonies.
LANEX believed that this BJC project is a potential Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program to support. LANEX can contribute to the project's mission to rebuild the future and promote road safety and sustainability.
